I recently scheduled my first maintenance appointment with Kyle in the service department. During the call, I mentioned that over the past month we had noticed a rattling or squeaking noise—similar to the sound of Styrofoam rubbing together—coming from the area around the dash entertainment screen. When I arrived to drop off my 2025 2500HD Denali diesel, Kyle greeted me, checked in the vehicle, and personally came out to understand exactly where the issue was coming from. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire interaction. What stood out most was his genuine interest in resolving the issue—he took the time to discuss it in detail so he could accurately relay the concern to the service technician. Kyle followed up the next day to let me know the scheduled maintenance was completed. However, he suggested booking a second appointment so the technicians could dedicate more time to properly investigate the dash noise. This was my first experience with the Kerns Service Department, and if Kyle is any indication of the overall team, they’ve earned my loyalty for as long as I own this vehicle. He could have easily dismissed the issue or said nothing was found, but instead, he went above and beyond to ensure it would be properly addressed. The truck is scheduled to go back in this week to further diagnose the dash issue, but based on this experience, I’m confident the service department is more than capable of handling it.

This is the 2nd vehicle we purchased from Kern Automotive in less than a year. We originally went to another GMC dealership that was closer but found the customer service unsatisfactory after walking the lot for about half an hour without anybody coming to our assistance. We ended up at Kern, where a salesman, Phil Foster immediately came out to greet us but told us to take our, that there was no pressure and that he was there to answer any questions if we needed him. My husband bought a vehicle that day and I went back when I was ready to make a purchase. Everybody there is super friendly and the made the buying process easy and fun. Kern is now our new dealership for future vehicle purchases, parts annd anccessories and service.

We had the best service. Rhonda Carnes was our sales person and she did an outstanding job. With all the new things to learn she had all the right answers. She is a wonderful person and excellent sales person. The sales manager (Kevin) is also a polite and helpful person. The Business Director (Michael Whitacre) was very helpful and knowledgeable with the extended warranty and the finance for the vehicle.
