Richard D Kern Jr (Rick) is the owner/operator of Kern Motor Co. Rick has spent the last 46 years at Kern! He is very proud to have helped continue his family's tradition of service to the Winchester area. Born and raised in Winchester, Rick attended Handley High School where he was voted into the Hunter Maddox Hall of Fame for football. He then graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Management and started his career at Kern. His children, Trey and Liz, joined him in the family business, and he has 6 awesome grandchildren! Rick is married to Melessia (Biz) Kern and has 2 stepsons, Canon and Corey Cochran. He is extremely proud to have helped Kern Motor Co. sell and service vehicles in Winchester, which all started in 1946! A record that speaks for itself few car dealerships can match!

Richard D. Kern III, or widely known as Trey is General Manager/ Sales Manager at Kern Motor Company, started his career full time in 2001. Born and raised in Winchester, Trey attended Handley High School where he was recently inducted in the Hunter Maddox Hall of Fame. Following an outstanding football career at Shepherd University and Hampden Sydney, Trey graduated in Business from Shenandoah University where he was 2000-2001 Outstanding Male Athlete. He was also inducted into the Shenandoah Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors society. Trey is a multiple year winner of GM's highest sales manager achievement: Mark of Excellence! He is married to Shawna and they have 3 children: Samantha, Mia, and Richard D. Kern IV. There is no question Trey plans to carry on the Kern Family's proud tradition of sales and service to the Winchester Area!

From Woodstock, VA, Kevin graduated from LFCC with a Business Management Degree. He worked at Grubbs Chevrolet for 30 years and has continued to be active with his community through the Rotary Club.

Michael has multiple years of finance experience and a total of 16 years with GM. He is a 1995 graduate of James wood High School and resides in Frederick County.

A Jefferson High School graduate in 1989, Rhonda has gone on to acquire many years of GM sales experience. She has even achieved the Top 20 Sales Performer Award in the Northeast Region for GM. Rhonda lives in Charlestown, WV with her husband John Carnes and has 4 children.

Phil Foster is a long time member of the community having owned a business for almost 30 years He is 1978 graduate of Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, NC but was born in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and has called it home for the last 30+ years! Phil has been in the GM car business for almost 10 years, and is proud to be a part of the Kern Motor Co. team! Phil lives in Front Royal, VA with his wife Ginger and has 2 beautiful daughters, 1 son-in-love and 2 amazing grandchildren.

Helping customers with any questions they have about in-vehicle technology, Jon has been with GM for 3 years. He graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 2016.

Dave was born and raised in Winchester, VA and graduated from James Wood High School. He has over 45 years of automotive service experience. The original owner of Kern Motor Company, Dick Kern, hired Dave and he has worked his entire career with our organization.

Dana was born and raised in Winchester, VA and graduated from Sherando High School. She has years of customer service experience, and has been with Kern Motor Company for two years.

Graduating from the James Wood class of 1993, Keith has been a loyal employee for Kern Motor Company, acquiring over 26 years of experience.
